What did you learn yesterday?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 23, 2007:

I learned about doves yesterday. They have double egg clutches which take 14 days to hatch. And I was right, mom and dad do take turns incubating the eggs.

Yesterday I learned that Robert Louis Stevenson believed he received the stories he wrote in his sleep, transmitted to him by "little people".

Yesterday I learned that clown fish can alter their gender throughout their lives. Go Nemo!

Yesterday I learned that the Basque name for a supreme being is "Jingo". I love that.

Yesterday I learned that it takes 121 of Tom Waits' tears to fill a teaspoon, that there is a Japanese robot that can belly dance, and that as a kind of prank art, someone installed doorknobs and locks on 15 trees in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Overall, pretty good day.

Today I learned that it takes 121 of Tom Waits tears to fill a teaspoon.  Thank you! ( Iand I re remembered about R.L. Stevenson, why do I forget as much as I learn!) Yes that is a pretty good day. How wonderful that we can always be learning these new things.
