I can't stop watching this. I think it's one of the funniest things in the universe. I woke up last night hearing the (improved) lyrics in my sleep. Please, someone else watch and spread the dysfunction around...it's just too much for me to handle on my own, I need help.

OK I watched it. But, I'm so removed from the original version that I don't think it had the same impact on me as it did on you. But saying that, I enjoyed it.

yes. that was great. I love almost all weird al's songs too. and I like to sing out what's happening in my day, like, “my husband thinks I'm a wacko, but he loves me anyway.” after doing something that makes him roll his eyes in the first place or “talkin' to myseeeeelllllfff” at work when an officer doesn't answer me on the radio or “there's a bear, over there.” after taking a call from a citizen who wants to report that there's a bear in their neighborhood. :-) I totally get why you were having so much fun with this. but I will not watch it 20 times. I won't! I won't!!

Oh I so loved that video when I was 16, or whatever breathlessly young age I was when it came out. That A-Ha guy made me totally sweaty! What a hilarious take on the whole music video thing! And, of course, the 80s are always laugh-inducing. Tragically, I still think that A-Ha guy is a hottie.
